Molina Hospital has delivered seventeen hospital beds to the Red Cross Region of Murcia, intended for elderly users who are bedridden and who are part of the Home Help Project of the Seniors Program of the humanitarian institution.
The donation of this equipment has been made at an event held at the facilities of the Hospital Center, with the assistance of the Deputy Director of the Molina Hospital, Francisco Menchón Galiana, and the President of the Local Assembly of the Red Cross, Mª José Almagro García.
In the words of Menchón Galiana, “this donation of furniture adds to other sanitary equipment and fungible sanitary equipment that we make to different organizations, such as the Red Cross.
In this way, we give new life to these resources that were to be disposed of, contributing to the circular economy and the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations. â€
For its part, Mª José Almagro García has thanked the Molina Hospital for the donation of this sanitary furniture, since “in the Home Help project of the Senior Program of the Red Cross, the most demanded and, therefore, the most necessary are articulated beds and cranes, due to the characteristics of the users of our Program â€.
Almagro García has confirmed that this donation will be distributed among the users of the Red Cross program by the different municipalities of the Region of Murcia, such as Lorca, Alguazas, Molina de Segura, Ceutí, Lorquí, Las Torres de Cotillas, etc.
