Radio Compañía, a municipal radio station of the City of Molina de Segura, incorporates into its programming a new radio space that will have the participation of students of 4th year of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) and 1st year of Baccalaureate.
The proposal has been offered to the twelve educational centers that provide this type of education in the city and, finally, eight groups belonging to the Vega del Táder, Cañada de las Eras, Eduardo Linares Lumeras, Sagrada Familia and Los Olivos institutes have been formed .
The municipal radio reserves a weekly hour of its programming for this space (Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and the students will be in charge of shaping a varied program where they will know the different journalistic genres and will be composed of several sections that they themselves will produce, edit and present.
The first program will air this Tuesday, January 21, and the protagonists will be students of the IES Eduardo Linares Lumeras.

The name chosen for the program is the site of my recreation, which summarizes one of the objectives of this call, such as the use of the media to educate in values, as well as to bring the radio to the centers in extracurricular schedule
In addition, a tribute is paid to one of the most emblematic songs of the musical group Nacha Pop and its singer and songwriter, Antonio Vega.
The space is coordinated by the journalist Evelyn Piñero Moreno and has the advice of the communicator María del Carmen Ramón Lozano, a professional with thirty years of experience, who has contributed to the training sessions that have previously been carried out with the participants in the facilities of the municipal radio station.
"We know that teenagers' consumption habits have changed, but we are also aware that if they are made active protagonists of the radio medium, the use of media and new technologies as educational tools can be encouraged," he said. indicated the director of Radio Company, Juan Luis Vivas Navarro.
Therefore, he adds, "another objective is to bring the radio to the students, improving their knowledge of this medium in a practical way: developing a radio program."
For his part, the Councilor of Radio Company, Juan Antonio Cantero Nicolás, said that "for the municipal government and for our municipal radio station it is important to encourage the learning of radio techniques and to know the model of local radio and public service that is established in Molina de Segura for almost three decades. The blue room
Another novelty of the programming of the municipal radio station is the space The Blue Room, which is directed and presented by the musician and composer from Luis Alberto Naranjo.
It began airing on January 13 and can be heard every Sunday, starting at 10 pm.
The new Radio Company collaborator has explained that The Blue Room began its first journey in 1993 and spent ten years at another radio station in Molina de Segura, offering for the entire Region of Murcia.
"It is a program dedicated to new music, new age music, classical electronics (such as Tangerine Dream, Jarre, Vangelis, etc.), ambient music, worldmusic, jazz fusion and soundtracks," says Naranjo.
