The Department of Culture of Molina de Segura presents the agenda of events The Culture in Winter (21/01/2020)

The Department of Culture of the City of Molina de Segura presents the agenda of cultural activities that will take place in the municipality during the period from January to April 5, 2020, date that coincides with the start of Holy Week.

Under the title The Culture in Winter, this agenda is already the second that is presented after the last Culture in Autumn, which covered the last quarter of 2019.

The initiative was presented at a press conference on Tuesday, January 21 by the Councilor for Culture, Soledad Nortes Navarro, who explained that "the purpose of these agendas is to offer the citizen of Molina de Segura, and those who visit the town, a day-to-day calendar of all cultural activities that can be enjoyed in the municipality. "

To this end, the agenda, with the slogan In the heat of culture, collects both activities organized by the City Council itself, through its various departments, and activities organized by the numerous associations that make up the rich cultural fabric of Molina de Segura.

Concerts, theater, conferences, exhibitions, cinema, guided tours, workshops, contests, courses and activities for children draw a wide offer that approximates the total of 150 scheduled activities.

Participating associations include Coral Hims Mola, Molina de Segura Pro Music Association, Molina de Segura Chamber Orchestra, Music Band, Villa de Molina Youth Performers Contest, Molina Athenaeum, Andalusia House, Moors Federation and Christians, An Education for the 21st Century, European New Age Association and others.

As for the participating departments, in addition to the activities of the Department of Culture, held at the Villa de Molina Theater, the Library Network, the MUDEM and the exhibition halls, activities organized by the Department of Tourism, Youth , Local Parties, Equality and others.

In sum, the Culture in Winter agenda aims to be, first and foremost, a global tool that guides and advises citizens when it comes to enjoying and making the most of their leisure time.
