The Department of Sports and Health of the City of Molina de Segura, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Sports of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, has launched on Tuesday, January 28, two new urban circuits for physical activity, one orientation and another, called "Healthy Gardens of Molina de Segura", which begins in the Plaza de España and concludes at the El Chorrico roundabout.
The starting point of both circuits, located next to the bottle tree of the Plaza de España, has been the place chosen for presentation.
The event was attended by the Councilor for Sports and Health, Miguel Ángel Cantero García, and the General Director of Sports of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Javier Sánchez López.
The first users of the orientation circuit were the students of 1st and 2nd of the IES Francisco de Goya who have followed to complete the instructions of the technician responsible for events and programs of the Department of Sports and Health, Antonia Gonzálvez Rodríguez .
This orientation circuit, with an equidistance of 2.5 kilometers, can be done freely or online.
People who decide to do this circuit can make use of the iOrienteering app that allows timing and verifying that it has been done correctly.
With the application downloaded and once registered, the QR code that appears on the map must be scanned at the point of departure, as well as all those that arise along the route until reaching the goal.
Participants have a maximum of 3 hours to complete the entire circuit.
The implementation of the other circuit, "Jardines Saludables de Molina de Segura", has been carried out by the group of Gymnastics of the Elderly and the walkers of the Social Center for the Elderly of the IMAS of Molina de Segura.
This circuit, with a distance of 2.5 kilometers and also supported by QR codes, starts, just like the previous one, in La Plaza del Ayuntamiento and how much with a total of 13 points of interest until reaching the roundabout of El Chorrico.
People who do so will pass through Plaza Europa, the Villa de Molina Theater, the Salvador García Aguilar Library, the SEF gardens and Aurora Street, the Azabache Street garden and the IES Cañada de la Eras side.
The Councilor for Sports and Health, Miguel Ángel Cantero García, has invited the entire population of Moldova to enjoy all the infrastructure that the City Council puts at its disposal in parks and gardens so that through sport they improve their health.
