Molina Hospital and EUCONSA join in their commitment to #ODS (30/01/2020)

In compliance with SDG 17 Partnerships to achieve the Objectives, EUCONSA and Hospital de Molina establish a collaboration alliance based on the commitment of both organizations to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

Both organizations have agreed to collaborate jointly on a Health Training Plan, aimed at EUCONSA staff, and designed by the Molina Hospital, which will develop the hospital center at the facilities that EUCONSA has in Murcia.

The Health Training Plan will consist of several workshops on healthy eating outside the home, postural hygiene, smoking cessation and psychosocial risks, which will be developed throughout this year, and which is part of the Health Promotion and Dissemination Program that Molina Hospital develops in its social performance, in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.

"At Molina Hospital we are aware that we must do our part in terms of sustainability. That is why, in addition to being adhered to the United Nations Global Compact to comply with its 10 Principles on Human Rights, Labor Practices, Environment and the Fight against Corruption, we are committed to the SDGs, and specifically, through actions that contribute to its achievement, with SDG 3 Health and Welfare, SDG 5 Gender equality, SDG 12 Responsible production and consumption, SDG 13 Climate Action and SDG 17 Partnerships to achieve the Objectives ", explains the Deputy Director of the Molina Hospital, Francisco Menchón Galiana.

The collaboration between both organizations is part of the #ODSito 2020 campaign, which is being carried out by EUCONSA, whose objective is to disseminate and promote compliance with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, through the actions implemented in EUCONSA, and This month is dedicated to SDG 3 - Health and Wellness.

For this reason, your ODSito pet has visited together with Francisco Martínez Martínez, responsible for HR & RSC, and Miriam Fresneda Llamas, HR and RSC technician - Molina Hospital, which has been received by the Deputy Director, Francisco Menchón Galiana, and the Director Doctor, Dr. Eduardo Rodríguez de la Vega Espinosa.
