The VIII Trail San Jorge Dragon, which will be held on the morning of Sunday, February 9 with departure and finish at the Colegio San Jorge, incorporates this year, to the already traditional adult routes of 26 and 10 kilometers, a new circuit of 16 kilometers , in addition to the Kids Cross circuit so that boys and girls can participate with their parents.
This test, organized by the Colegio San Jorge and the Club San Jorge with the collaboration of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia (FAMU) and the City of Molina de Segura, was presented today Friday January 31 at a press conference by the Councilor for Sports and Health of the City of Molina de Segura, Miguel Ángel Cantero García, and the head of the race, Juan David Cano Carrillo.
The VIII Trail San Jorge Dragon, framed in the VII Trail Running League of the Region of Murcia, has planned to have the best runners in the Region of Murcia and neighboring communities since it is a test that the FAMU has determined to be Scoring for the Spanish Trail Championship.
So far there are more than 900 registered and expected to exceed a thousand.
The various circuits of the test will run through the natural space of Coto Cuadros.
The established categories range from Chupetas (born in 2015 and later) to Master 65 (born in 1955 and earlier).
In addition to the competitive Trail Running of 10, 16 and 26 kilometers, there will be a test of hiking or walking, non-competitive, of 16 and 10 kilometers.
The organization has prepared a child care service so that while the fathers and mothers carry out the activity, their sons and daughters can be attended by specialists in Early Childhood Education.
