The official presentation ceremony of Holy Week 2020 of Molina de Segura, promoted by the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías de Molina de Segura, takes place, today, Friday, March 6, at 8:00 p.m., in the Virginia Martínez Fernández Auditorium, in the MUDEM, an act that will be closed with a concert by the Municipal Band of Molina de Segura.
Previously, at 7.30 pm, the exhibition of Holy Week photographs will be opened with the five senses in the Sala El Jardín.
There it will remain open to the public until March 27.
The First Deputy Mayor of Molina de Segura, Ángel Navarro García, the President of the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías of the town, Antonio Ruiz Serrano, the Councilor for Local and Tourism Festivals, Andrés Martínez Cervantes, the Councilor for the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías and Pastor of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, José León León, and the presidents of the four brotherhoods of the municipality: Juan López Riquelme, of the Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Sorrows;
Fuensanta Carrascosa García, from the Brotherhood of the Holy Entombment;
Víctor Manuel Palazón Cano, of the Illustrious, Venerable and Antiquísima Archicofradía of María Santísima del Rosario and of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ;
and Antonio Ruiz García, of the Brotherhood of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus in Jerusalem.
This year's official poster is from Raimundo de los Reyes, which reproduces a detail of the passage of La Piedad, by Hernández Navarro, which processes Good Friday.
The cover of the Cabildo magazine is illustrated with a photographic collage of Ascension López Puche, popularly known as Chon López, with images of the Virgin of Victory and the Risen One, of the Brotherhood of the Resurrection.
The Holy Week 2020 Cry will be delivered on Saturday, March 28, by the pastor of the Church of San Vicente, and the Triumphal Entrance Councilor, Antonio López Belchí, in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption.
After the reading of the Proclamation, we will proceed to the appointment of Nazarena of the Year, annual recognition that puts value to the Molineran brothers and that this time has fallen to Ascension López Puche, Chon López, brother of the Holy Christ of the Sorrows, teacher and Author of numerous photographs of Molinense Holy Week.
The exhibition Holy Week with the five senses, which can be seen in the Municipal Exhibition Hall El Jardín, seeks that the visitor leaves his mind blank and activates all his senses before a selection of photographs of the images that procession each spring in Molina de Segura, images that will be illuminated to the rhythm of a story.
The sample can see visited until March 27.
The Molinense Holy Week puts on the streets of the municipality a total of 23 steps, which include the five that children carry in their procession and, according to the Cabildo, more than 2,500 brothers participate in it.
The first parade that will take to the streets of Molina de Segura, from the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, will be on the afternoon of Sunday, March 29, the Procession of Children.

Saturday, March 28
At 7:00 pm, from the Plaza de España to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Parade of Passionate Brotherhoods and Cabildo Superior.
At 7.30 pm, in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, after Mass, Holy Week's Proclamation, by Antonio López Belchí.
After reading the proclamation, in the Church itself, the title of Nazarene of the Year 2020 will be delivered, which this year has fallen to López Puche Ascension.
At 7.30 pm, in the Parish of Our Lady of Remedies of La Torrealta, Nazarene Talk, by the Franciscan Ernesto Chanquet Mateos.
Sunday, March 29
At 6 pm, Procession of Children.
Itinerary: Church Square of Our Lady of the Assumption, Ramón y Cajal, Constitution Square, Culture, Mayor, Santa Teresa, Paseo Rosales, Murcia Region Square, Culture, Pensioner, Church Square Our Lady of the Assumption.

Friday, April 3.
Friday of pain
At 10 pm, Procession of the Nazarene (Via Crucis through Barrio del Castillo).
Itinerary: Church Square of Our Lady of the Assumption, Pensioner, Benavente, Plaza Cristo Rey, San Vicente Ferrer, Vázquez de Mella, Cid Campeador, Juan Sandoval, Church Square of Our Lady of the Assumption.
When the parade returns to the church, at around 11:00 pm, the image of Our Father Jesus Nazareno meets the Virgin of Sorrows, which begins its transfer from the parish to the Hermitage of San Roque where the Brotherhood of the Blessed Sacrament is based Christ of Sorrows.
