The new Committee has been set up on Tuesday morning, March 10 with the aim of coordinating and articulating actions of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health of the Region of Murcia against the coronavirus in the municipality, both regarding the population and to the public employees of the Consistory
The City of Molina de Segura has constituted, on the morning of Tuesday, March 10, the new Municipal Monitoring Committee of COVID-19 in Molina de Segura, with the aim of coordinating and articulating the actions of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health of the Region of Murcia against the coronavirus in the municipality, both regarding the population and public employees of the Consistory, as reported by the spokesman of said committee, the First Deputy Mayor, Ángel Navarro García.
Chaired by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the new committee is made up of representatives of the departments of Sports and Health, Citizen Security, Social Welfare and Human Resources, of the City Health and Safety Committee, the Community Health Commission from Molina de Segura, from the National Police Station in the municipality and from the Press Office, as well as by the spokespersons of all municipal groups represented in the Molinense Consistory.
The Municipal Monitoring Committee of COVID-19 in Molina de Segura will carry out the coordination and articulation of the actions of the highest competent bodies in public health (General State Administration and Autonomous Administration) in the municipality, directed both externally to the citizen protection of the population in general and, internally, to the protection of the local government's own resources (public employees of the City Council).
With this Committee, the City Council:
It will establish a single channel of information to improve communication with citizens and avoid unnecessary false alarms.
It will carry out in the municipality the measures that are established from the higher organs (Ministry of Health and Ministry of Health of the Region of Murcia).
It will integrate all the actions that are carried out in the municipality with respect to COVID-19.
Articulate the means of coordination with the highest competent bodies in the field of public health.
The Ministry of Health of the Region of Murcia has made available to the public a telephone number of information about the coronavirus, 900 12 12 12, available from 08.00 to 20.00 hours.
