A Fight for Equality on Thursday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m., at the Salvador García Aguilar Library (on Avenida del Chorrico, No. 44) in Molina de Segura.
Involved, along with the author, the Councilor for Gender Equality and Violence of the Molinense City Council, Montserrat Montanos Villegas, and the representative of the Association of Families of Gays and Lesbians of the Region of Murcia (ASFAGALEM), Nuria Montiel Guardiola.
This work is a study on the political action of a whole referent of the recent democracy of Spain: Pedro Javier González Zerolo, better known as Pedro Zerolo, leader of the LGTB collective in Spain.
It is the result of an arduous documentary investigation that has in-depth interviews with political leaders, such as former President José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Cándido Méndez or Carlos Antonelli.
The book tells the whole political journey of the protagonist and highlights the most important milestones that have made him a world reference for equal rights and the LGBT struggle.
This project, promoted by Editorial Luhu, also has a video documentary that summarizes the research.
The video report will also be broadcast during the act of presenting the book.
