The Department of Culture of Molina de Segura offers the family activities program The past is present, with history, monumental heritage and museums in Molines (24/03/2020)

On the occasion of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Area of ​​Historical Heritage and the Network of Municipal Museums (ReMM) of the Department of Culture of the Molina de Segura City Council has published on the MUDEM Facebook profile and on the Twitter profile from the Department of Culture, from 11.00 am today, Tuesday, March 24, family activities on the history of Molina de Segura and historical and cultural heritage for children and young people so that, while they learn about the past in Moldova, they have leisure and activity alternatives in these days of home confinement.

As reported by the Councilor for Culture, Soledad Nortes Navarro, the City Council of Moldova has launched this new initiative, which will be in force for much of the period declared in a state of alarm by COVID-19, since "the MUDEM and the Network Municipal Museums (ReMM) are closed and the activities to be carried out in them have been suspended until further notice, so families are offered the possibility of carrying out simple activities related to our history, monumental heritage and museums. "

The activities will be published every 3 days at 11.00, as well as the support materials to carry them out.

The slogan chosen for this set of activities is THE PAST COMES PRESENT, a way of making confinement bearable for children and young people and their families.

They are simple, fun, but at the same time educational activities.

The past is present begins on March 24 on social networks, such as Facebook of the MUDEM, @museomudem, and Twitter of the Department of Culture, @Cultura_Molina.

Every three days a new activity will be launched.

The photos of what has been done can be sent to the email culturaencasa@molinadesegura.es, where they will be collected and published on the City Council's social networks and its website.

PROGRAMMING:

March 24-26: Draw or make a model of the nonagonal tower of the wall of Molina de Segura.

March 27 to 29: write a story about the castle of Molina de Segura, its wall or some person in the history of Molina de Segura (Don Juan Manuel, El Cid, Alfonso X el Sabio, Marqués de los Vélez, anonymous ... ).
