During the State of Alarm by COVID-19, the Molina de Segura City Council, through the Department of Social Welfare, manages a free remote assistance service for people who are in a situation of risk and / or vulnerability to the situation of confinement and / or isolation, valued by social services and dependent people who, not beneficiaries of telecare, have a fixed or mobile phone, as reported, today Tuesday March 31, the First Deputy Mayor and spokesman for the Municipal Committee of COVID-19 monitoring in Molina de Segura, Ángel Navarro García.

The objective of this service is to provide telephone attention to these people and increase their security and tranquility at home.

The main provision of the telecare service is to attend emergency situations, in addition to being a channel for information and advice on issues related to COVID-19.

In situations of loneliness and need for emotional support, this service will carry out accompaniment, listening and conversation functions.

For people affected by COVID-19, who are not hospitalized because their situation does not require it, from this service follow-up calls can be made to monitor their progress.

In the event that a worsening of your condition is detected, the health services will be contacted.

Medication reminder calls may also be made.

This service has been activated from IMAS, which will allow the person to call in any emergency situation, having telephone support and access to those queries or doubts that may arise during this alarm situation, being available from Today, Tuesday March 31, and active while this crisis situation lasts.

With this new measure, the social services of the Molina de Segura City Council continue to expand their offer of services for the care and support of people in situations of risk and vulnerability, being continuously present in situations of social need for citizens.
