WE STAY FOR MOLINA, campaign of the Molinense City Council to support the local hospitality sector during Phase I of de-escalation (14/05/2020)

| The departments of Commerce and Tourism want to support the hospitality union with measures that favor the opening of the terraces in Phase I and the diffusion of open establishments in a safe way | A campaign has been launched from the Department of Commerce and Tourism of the Molina de Segura City Council, under the motto WE STAY FOR MOLINA, with the aim of promoting the local hospitality industry, communicating to all the population the bars that already have its terraces open in Phase I of de-escalation, on the occasion of the health emergency and the declaration of the state of alarm by COVID-19, as reported, today Thursday May 14, the Councilor for Commerce and Tourism, Andrés Martínez Cervantes. In order to provide Molina de Segura hospitality establishments with a reopening in the best conditions of safety and hygiene compared to COVID-19, with the entry into force in our Autonomous Community of Phase I of the de-escalation, the councilors of Public Road, Commerce, Citizen Security and Mobility of the Molinense City Council met last week in order to articulate the most efficient way of applying the measures contained in the BOE of May 3, 2020, in which "the reopening is established to the public on the terraces of the hotel and restaurant establishments, meetings of up to a maximum of ten people being allowed and the number of tables allowed being limited to fifty percent compared to the immediately previous year ", "With the WE ARE STAYING FOR MOLINA campaign, Martínez explains- we have recovered our motto for the gastronomy of the town.

We have edited a poster with addresses, hours and phones of 22 bars that have reopened, so that it is easier to reserve and fulfill with the recommended appointment and we will enjoy, in this way, in a safer way, to reduce infections ". This poster contains a list of bars, restaurants, cafes, pubs, ice cream parlors and tearooms that have an open terrace.

There are a total of 22: Ambigú Acierta, Auxiliar, Cinco Senti2, Gramur, La Posada del Pino, La Gratella, Mesón Las Tapas de Oro, Nuevo Rincón, M&J, Pepe Luis, Pizzería Amalfí, Quijano, Richard, Río Retiro, Ten Tapas, Vitanova, Dulce Noah, La Era, Havana, La Tentación, Hot Coffe and La Jijonenca Ice Cream Shop.

Those terraces that are opening in the coming days or weeks may be incorporated into the poster, communicating it to the telephone number 968 388 523. "Our contact has been with more than 150 establishments, to offer the information through the municipal portal and social networks, as well as through the partners of the Gastronomic Association of Molina de Segura," says the Councilor for Commerce and Tourism.

This week, the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero, together with the councilors for Commerce, Tourism and Public Roads, has held a videoconference with representatives of said association to learn about the needs of this sector and thus help local hospitality, and inform of existing aid. According to Andrés Martínez, "we know that hospitality is one of the most important sectors in our country, and, in the current context, we want to guarantee that its activity is carried out in the best possible conditions for the citizens and workers of these establishments" .
