A Fight for Equality on Tuesday, June 30, at 8:30 p.m., in the Plaza Eduardo Linares (Red Square) in Molina de Segura.
The author, the Councilor for Gender Equality and Violence of the Molinense City Council, Montserrat Montanos Villegas, and the representative of the Association of Gay and Lesbian Families of the Region of Murcia (ASFAGALEM), Nuria Montiel Guardiola, intervene.
The activity is part of the A SUMMER OF BOOK program, included, in turn, on Summer Moons in Molina. This work is a study on the political performance of a benchmark of recent democracy in Spain: Pedro Javier González Zerolo, better known as Pedro Zerolo, leader of the LGBT community in Spain.
It is the result of an arduous documentary investigation that includes in-depth interviews with political leaders, such as former President José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Cándido Méndez or Carla Antonelli.
The book narrates the entire political journey of the protagonist and highlights the most important milestones that have made him a worldwide benchmark for equal rights and the LGBT struggle. This project has been promoted by Editorial Luhu.
The event will have a sign language interpreter.
