The workers of the Molina de Segura City Council returned to star in a new act of protest (09/07/2020)

The workers of the Molina de Segura City Council returned to star in a new act of protest yesterday, Wednesday, July 8, concentrating on the City Hall Square demanding a change of attitude on the part of the PSOE-PODEMOS Government Team and the start of a process of real negotiation to agree on the stabilization of temporary employment almost 40% - which includes the reinstatement of the dismissed workers.Despite the latest mobilizations called by the unanimity of the unions of the City Council CCOO, CSIF, UGT AND SIME- and the repeated requests for negotiations, the PSOE-PODEMOS Government, in clear breach of its own political programs and ideas, continues to deny any possibility of agreement.

They insist on maintaining a unilateral proposal of Cuts to alleviate a negative budgetary situation, of which they do not know or do not want to explain the causes, as well as not wanting to recognize more than 50 structural positions occupied by precarious contracts, as well as access conditions.

and stabilization of some 100 places already recognized and pending the completion of their consolidation processes. This Government Team not only does not negotiate now, it has inadvertently been negotiating for more than 3 years and of course since the beginning of this legislature.

He continues to refuse to negotiate, not only on the issues that motivate these mobilizations; is that he does not want to negotiate on anything: Neither finish the negotiation of Annexes such as the Conservatory that promised to negotiate before January 31, 2019! Neither the urgent update of the List of Jobs of the City Council, nor the call in free shift of the vacancies of the Local Police, nor the application of the protocols of Prevention of psychosocial Risk.

Nor have we been able to negotiate the resolutions related to changes in telecommuting jobs, new locations ...

etc.

- motivated by the pandemic; NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING.WE KEEP INSISTING WE DON'T LOSE HOPE THAT COMMON SENSE WINS AND WE CAN NEGOTIATE.THIS IS PRACTICALLY THE ONLY CITY COUNCIL IN THE REGION IN WHICH IT HAS NOT BEEN POSSIBLE TO NEGOTIATE IN THE LAST YEARS.
