"Never before, despite repeated floods, has such a large package of projects been prepared, in this case to correct the damage caused by the September storm," explains the Mayor, who noted that the delay in repairs is because "We have had to wait more than eight months for the central government to remove the repair grant order.

Despite the fact that the City Council will have to put 50% of the cost of the projects out of its municipal coffers, the municipal government team is very aware of the need to carry out these actions, to recover the infrastructures so damaged by DANA ". Improvement actions have been presented practically throughout the entire municipality of Molina de Segura, highlighting the projects of: repair in Huerta de Arriba and Huerta de Abajo, with a total of 12 roads included in this project; repair of 4 roads in La Torrealta (El Bosque, La Isla, El Islote and La Canal); repair of roads 6 in La Ribera (Vereda de la Barca, Canal Bridge, Los Almarjales, Vereda del Chapín, Camino del Hondo and Panderón de los Giles); repair of 12 parish roads in the upper area (Camino del Canal, Marchantes, Quinto Pino, Delicias, Hoya del Fenazar, Cuevas de Comala, Magnolia, Pepe Larrosa, Casas Viejas, Almazara and Colinas; as well as repair of a good number of Damaged municipal infrastructures, such as the Noria Carlos Soriano, the sports court of La Barceloneta, the Municipal Velodrome, the Ermita Pumping Station, various sewage collectors and several vials of industrial estates in La Polvorista, La Serreta and El Tapiado, as well as roof repairs on municipal buildings.

"As we see indicates the Councilor for Public Roads, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez-, this is a very important job and we hope that the resolution of this line of subsidies is favorable, which would allow the actions to begin as soon as possible."This is very important work and we hope that the resolution of this line of subsidies will be favorable, which would allow the proceedings to begin as soon as possible.

"This is very important work and we hope that the resolution of this line of subsidies will be favorable, which would allow the proceedings to begin as soon as possible.

" On the other hand, the Molina City Council has just received a resolution proposal from the Government Delegation in the Region of Murcia to pay for the damage caused by emergencies that were carried out from the first moment that the DANA phenomenon occurred.

The Molinense City Council, the same Friday that the rains began, decreed the state of emergency, so it was possible to face large emergency repairs, which were financed entirely by the City Council, for an amount of 641,785.24 euros.

Now, the proposal of the Government Delegation, in process of hearing, proposes an endowment for the City of Molina de Segura, to finance these expenses, of 427,161.02 euros, but an allegation has been made, which could increase this figure to the 560,518.58 euros, which are the ones that the City Council would reimburse for the repairs, mud cleaning and emergency repairs that were carried out in September. As the Mayor of Molina de Segura recalls, "despite the numerous floods, never before has the Molinense City Council received such significant aid for the damage caused by a flood.

We are proud of DANA's management, since, despite to the damages and suffering that it has produced in our neighbors, the City Council's response has been quick and effective, and we hope that, with the proposed projects, it will be possible to alleviate most of the damages caused in our municipal area.
