The Molina de Segura City Council signs agreements with the associations DISMO, TEDIS and ASPAPROS, to which it allocates a total of 79,000 euros (21/07/2020)

| The Mayor and the Councilor for Social Welfare have presented the agreements signed, today, Tuesday, July 21, in the municipal plenary hall | The agreements promoted by the Department of Social Welfare and signed between the City of Molina de Segura and the associations DISMO, TEDIS and ASPAPROS, have been presented at a press conference, today, Tuesday, July 21, in the Plenary Hall of the Molinense Consistory, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángel Navarro García. The City Council subsidizes with a total of 79,000 euros the projects included in the following three agreements: - 2020 Agreement between the Molina de Segura City Council and the Molina de Segura and Vega Media Disabled Association (DISMO) for the Comprehensive Development Plan for people with disabilities. The Molina de Segura City Council and DISMO sign this collaboration agreement to develop the Comprehensive Development Plan, with a municipal grant for a total amount of 27,000 euros. The main objectives pursued with the signing of this agreement are: to offer information and specialized guidance to the group of people with disabilities; meet the demands and needs of the group; and favor the social integration of people with disabilities in the community environment and improve their quality of life.

Those with disabilities from the municipality and their families can benefit from the Plan.

There is a forecast for this year to serve 45 people with disabilities.

The age of the minors attended is from 6 to 18 years, with an assessment of disability, and, for the participants in the occupational program, the age range is between 16 and 65 years. The following programs and services are established within the Comprehensive Development Plan for People with Disabilities: OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PROGRAM: Social care services for users and families. Voluntary maintenance service. Cultural participation service for leisure and free time. Accessibility service to the physical environment. SOCIAL INTERVENTION PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES: Social care for users and family. School awareness service on the rights of people with disabilities.

Educational psychologist and social skills. The DISMO Association is located in the Municipal Center of La Molineta, on Avenida de París, n ° 1, in Molina de Segura.

It carries out its activities from 09:00 to 20:00 and, among its services, it also has a day center, early care, etc.

The entity has, to provide all the services and programs,: 1 Social Worker, 2 workshop monitors, 1 Speech Therapist, 1 accompanying driver and 1 Educational Psychologist. DISMO was created in 1981 as an initiative to respond to the problems presented by the group of people with disabilities in Molina de Segura, which require services and benefits that respond to it in different areas, such as health, school, accessibility, communication , education, leisure and free time, etc. The agreement maintains the entity's commitment to take into account the Socio-Labor Insertion Exchange of the Molinense City Council, aimed at promoting the integration into the labor market of unemployed people in the municipality. - 2020 Agreement between the City of Molina de Segura and the Association for the Social Integration of the Disabled (TEDIS) for the development of activities in the Occupational Day Center in 2020. This agreement includes a municipal grant for a total amount of 22,000 euros.

TEDIS develops a project of an Occupational Center for the provision of services related to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities, maximizing the development of individual capacities and the full social integration of the group in all its areas. The association works with the group of people with diverse disabilities, over the age of 16, from the municipality of Molino.

The total number of people who attend the center is 10, of which there are 7 men and 3 women, and the age range is from 19 to 60 years.

For years, TEDIS has been developing actions to respond to the needs derived from people with disabilities, promoting the full family, work and social integration of the group, promoting the maximum development of basic skills. The association's commitment to taking into account the Socio-Labor Insertion Exchange of the Molina de Segura City Council is maintained, aimed at promoting the integration into the labor market of unemployed people in the municipality. In 2019, TEDIS launched a Family Respite and Work-Life Balance Service on Saturday mornings, from 09:00 to 14:00. The Occupational Center is located in Calle Canarias, s / n, in the pavilion of the old College of Fatima.

It develops the following activities and workshops: Computer workshop. Swimming. Hability games. New Technologies Workshops. Social skills improvement activities. Adapted Sport: soccer, basketball, table tennis, petanque, golf, etc. The opening hours are from 09:00 to 13:30, and it has a daily transport service.

The entity has two Special Education teachers for the development of the workshops, and the rest of the services and activities are managed with volunteer personnel. - Convenio 2020 entre el Ayuntamiento de Molina de Segura y la Asociación de Padres y Protectores de Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual de Murcia, ASPAPROS, para el desarrollo de un Programa de Actividades de Integración Social, Mejora de la Calidad de Vida y Adaptación a las TIC (Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación) para Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual. Este convenio contempla una subvención municipal de 30.000 euros, y sus objetivos son los siguientes: Promover la participación activa de personas con discapacidad psíquica en el manejo y realización de actividades telemáticas favoreciendo la autonomía y el desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías que permita mejorar la socialización y comunicación con familiares y el exterior. Favorecer el desarrollo de la autonomía y responsabilidad en el aprendizaje del uso de las tecnologías digitales en aquellos aspectos más importantes de la vida diaria de las personas con discapacidad intelectual que residen o acuden al centro. Ofrecer un espacio y un contexto normalizador en el desarrollo de determinadas actividades y salidas al exterior para conseguir que los participantes sean capaces de impulsar su propio desarrollo y ampliación de su horizonte cultural. ASPAPROS tiene en Molina de Segura (en Calle La Amistad, n° 1, en Barrio de San Miguel) un amplio abanico de recursos: cuenta con un Servicio de Atención Diurna, donde se desarrollan distintos talleres; y ofrece servicio de comedor, transporte adaptado y atención sanitaria, ya que tiene una larga trayectoria en la atención a personas con discapacidad intelectual.

También cuenta con un recurso de atención residencial, durante los 365 días del año, para la atención integral de personas con discapacidad intelectual, que precisan apoyo debido a problemas de autonomía en la realización de las actividades de la vida diaria, y no pueden permanecer en sus propios domicilios, con capacidad para 97 personas.

Además, se presta un servicio de respiro familiar, destinado a atender a la persona con discapacidad intelectual durante los días en los que, por diversos motivos, la familia no pueda atenderlo. Tras la aparición de la pandemia del COVID-19, la asociación ha tenido que adaptar la forma de trabajo con todos los residentes: se han suspendido visitas de familiares, salidas al exterior y se buscan otras actividades y programas, adaptándose a la tecnología y fomentando la comunicación y relación social a través de las redes sociales. Los destinatarios/as de estos servicios son personas con discapacidad intelectual del municipio de Molina de Segura, que tengan acreditado el grado de dependencia, mayores de 18 años. Dentro del Programa de Actividades de Integración Social para Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual se establecen las siguientes actuaciones: Adaptación de equipos a trabajo telemático. Adquisición de material. Elaboración de actividades adaptadas por vía telemática para centro de día. Creación de un servicio de videollamadas para residentes. Elaboración de un programa de ocio y tiempo libre en entornos naturales.

Salidas por los distintos lugares de la Región.

Esta previsto desarrollar las siguientes actividades: de ocio en la comunidad y vida social, salidas culturales, actividades deportivas, en el medio natural, etc. La asociación dispone de: 4 educadores, 2 trabajadores sociales, 3 maestros de taller, 12 cuidadores y 2 integradores sociales. Se mantienen otras actividades, como el mantenimiento y cuidado de un Huerto Ecológico Urbano en la asociación; así como el compromiso con la entidad de tener en cuenta la Bolsa de Inserción Sociolaboral del Ayuntamiento de Molina de Segura, destinada a favorecer la integración en el mercado laboral de personas en situación de desempleo del municipio.
