The Mayor warns that this is a critical week in the fight against COVID-19 and that what happens these days "will determine whether to go back to phase I of the de-escalation" (07/08/2020)

| The councilwoman, who has requested that only essential activities are carried out, it has reported that in the municipality there are currently 34 infected people and has asked the public to report or call the police | if you detect non-compliance with the rules The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, has warned at a press conference today Friday, August 7, that the municipality is in a truly critical week in the fight against COVID-19 and that, without being alarmist but realistic , "what happens these days will determine whether to go back to PHASE I of the de-escalation, with the dire consequences that this entails." Clavero explained that there are currently 34 people who are infected in the municipality, with an exponential growth in recent days, two of them being people of maximum vulnerability due to their age.

Both are hospitalized, one in the ICU and the other in the ward. On July 30, the municipal councilor addressed the citizens of Moline to make a call for responsibility and compliance with all the measures established to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

A few days later, Clavero has recognized that unfortunately the bad prognoses have been fulfilled and in Molina de Segura the positive cases are increasing. The Mayor of Moline has stressed that there are people in the town who are skipping the quarantine in a totally irresponsible and unsupportive way and has been firm in stating that "at this point there will be no doubt in communicating cases of non-compliance to the Local Police quarantine.

Incidental actions of positive cases by COVID-19 will be sanctioned, even with hospital admission.

" The councilor has insisted that it is not a question of throwing everything away and that while talking about health, it is also talking about subsistence, "because the economic impact, if you take a step back, can be very high" . In Molina de Segura, despite repeated messages from the health authorities and the dissemination from the various administrations of recommendations of all kinds, cases continue to be detected originating from family gatherings in which no type of measures are taken, Clavero has asked, situations that should be avoided and extreme precautions should be taken, even if these meetings do not exceed 15 people.

Nightlife is another of the focuses that most concerns the Municipality of Moline, where the responsibility falls on users and hoteliers. The Mayor of Molina de Segura has once again requested citizen collaboration and has asked that if non-compliance with the rules is detected, it be reported or the police are called.

Clavero has also claimed that during these days only essential activities are carried out, always taking all the measures that we already know: mask, social distance and hygiene. The Local Police of Molina de Segura, as explained by Clavero, has processed, from the beginning of July to date, more than a hundred sanctions for not wearing the mask or wearing it improperly, not respecting the safety distance or skip quarantine.

In this period of time there have been two people who have not respected that quarantine, one of them even moved to a restaurant that had to be closed.
