| Emergency services attend 3 serious and 8 minor injuries in the fire in a house in Molina de Segura | Emergency services have attended this morning to three people who have been seriously injured and another 8 affected by smoke in the fire in a flat in a building on Tirso de Molina street in Molina de Segura.On 1-1-2, at 03:49 hours, he received up to almost fifty calls informing that an explosion and a fire had occurred in a floor of the aforementioned street and that the sixth floor of a seven-story building was burning.

Local police patrols, firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire Extinction and Rescue Consortium were immediately mobilized to the site (up to 18 firefighters from 3 parks with 7 fire fighting vehicles) and ambulances and health personnel from the Management of Urgencies and Health Emergencies 061 (4 mobile emergency units, one from the Molina emergency service and two non-assistance ambulances)At 4.30 am, the firefighters had controlled the spread of the fire and rescued the people who were trapped on the upper floors and terrace.The toilets at 061 have treated 3 seriously injured people:A firefighter (male, 43 years old), who has fallen to the ground from an undetermined height, who has been transferred to the "Virgen de la Arrixaca" hospital in Murcia, polytraumatized.A 54-year-old woman, seriously burned, who has been transferred to the Burn Unit of the "Virgen de la Arrixaca" hospital in Murcia.Another firefighter (male, 41 years old) has been treated for heat stroke and taken to the "Morales Meseguer" hospital in Murcia.Another 7 people have been treated for smoke inhalation and have not required transfer to a health center, the same as another, treated for an anxiety crisis.Technicians and volunteers from the Civil Protection of Molina de Segura and the Red Cross are also on site, collaborating with the emergency services in assisting the evicted people.
