The bases of the contest have been presented at a press conference, today Thursday, September 17, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the Councilor for the Economy, Finance and Economic Promotion and Strategy, José de Haro González, and the President of the Segura Businessmen and Merchants Association (ASECOM), Eloy Jiménez Gambín. This contest, which has the collaboration of the Segura Business and Merchants Association (ASECOM) and the Murcia European Business and Innovation Center (CEEIM), seeks to reward the best entrepreneurial initiatives in the Region of Murcia, in the initial phase, in a competitive competition regime and thereby contribute to the generation of employment, thus strengthening the local economy Esther Clavero pointed out that "this year, from the Molina de Segura City Council we are once again inviting emerging companies in our Region with fresh ideas so that, using this contest as a platform, they can let us know about their projects and demonstrate with them the great business talent that exists in Murcia.
We are looking for businesses with innovative ideas that stand out in the market, supported by new technologies.
By convening this contest we are supporting those emerging human organizations that have a great capacity for adaptation and change.
Companies that develop products or services of great added value ". The competition, whose backbone is the technological nature and the relationship with ICT, is endowed with a first prize of 2,500 euros, at the regional level, a second prize of 2,000 euros, also at the regional level, and a local prize of 1,500 euros for projects presented by natural or legal persons with registered office or registered office in Molina de Segura, with a minimum age of one year prior to the application. The selection of projects will be made taking into account the following categories: - Technology and innovation in logistics and transport processes: everything related to geolocation, processes that speed up transport, the traceability of goods, stock control mechanisms, etc. - General sales and online sales: new sales models with recycling of materials and their dissemination on social networks, application of new technologies to commerce, business, marketing, etc. - Products and services related to nutrition and health: nutrition, health, healthy lifestyle habits, sports and exercise applied to citizens, etc. - Digitization of processes and customers: use of new technologies in the manufacturing and distribution of products and / or services, as well as the way to interact with customers and consumers. - Environmental Impact: measures to reduce environmental impact, circular economy, new environmental processes applied to industry and commerce, water use, recycling, new materials, sustainable mobility and energy efficiency processes. Our municipality has always been characterized by hosting large companies, not only regional, but also national and international, that have passed and walk with pride the name of Molina de Segura ". The jury of the contest, which will be appointed by the Molina de Segura City Council from among people with proven experience in the matter, must choose a maximum of 5 finalists from among all the projects that are presented, following criteria based on innovative aspects, the relevance in the markets, the potential for internationalization, the technical feasibility, among others. It will be registered in the General Registry of the Molina de Segura City Council.
The deadline for the presentation of projects is next October 15 and the implementation of the winners must be compulsorily in the municipality of Molina de Segura, offering advice for it from the Municipal Office of Businesses.
Two copies of each project must be attached to the application.
