| Health workers attend and transfer a cyclist who has been injured when falling into the Segura riverbed in Molina de Segura | 10:19 am.- Health workers have treated and transferred to a health center a cyclist who has been injured by falling fortuitously into the riverbed on the road from Molina de Segura to Alguazas, before the old iron railway bridge.A call to the Emergency Coordination Center 112 Region of Murcia warned of the accident, indicating that the cyclist had fallen into the channel but had managed to get out of the water.
Immediately, the Medical Coordinator of the Urgencies and Health Emergencies Management 061 has moved a Mobile Emergency Unit to the place.
Helped by other people, the cyclist has managed to climb to the butte of the river, where he has been treated by the UME.
Subsequently, a medical ambulance has transferred the injured man, a man of approximately 60 years of age, to the Hospital de la Consolación de Molina de Segura, since he presented a head trauma without loss of consciousness, for more precise tests.
