| The activity will take place from October 31 to November 28, aimed at women users of CAVI | The Department of Equality and Gender Violence of the Molina de Segura City Council, within the XVII Program for the Prevention of Gender Violence and on the occasion of the commemoration of November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (IV Plan of Equal Opportunities between Women and Men), organizes the EmpoderArte painting course, aimed at women users of CAVI. The objective of this program is to generate a new social attitude towards gender violence, which prevents and eliminates any expression of it in the municipality, as well as to sensitize the population of Moline about this problem, to achieve a total rejection of any type of sexist violence. The purpose of this course is to prepare women, through training in an artisan trade, both for labor insertion in artisan companies and for self-employment, also highlighting the therapeutic function of social encounters and personal learning.
In short, empower the participating women, generating confidence and self-confidence, and carry out confidence exercises, initiate their knowledge, analyze their skills and abilities at this time in their lives. The course is eminently practical and will take place on Saturdays, October 31, and November 7, 14, 21 and 28, from 10:00 a.m.
to 1:00 p.m., at the San Roque Women's Center, taught by Rosana González, with the following specific objectives: - Knowledge of the artisan trade. - Learn and develop the tools and techniques necessary to understand the characteristics of the trade. - Develop an analytical view of the work to be executed. - Make an artisan product. - Search for the strengthening of the emotional part to improve self-confidence. - Initiation of entrepreneurship as autonomous. The General Directorate of Consumption and Crafts of the Region of Murcia collaborates, through the State Pact against Gender Violence.
