The chances of cure that are detected in its initial stage are practically 100%.

Through mammography screening programs, breast tumors can be diagnosed in early stages where there is a tremendous chance of a cure. It is generally recommended to perform regular mammograms from the age of 45-50 years.

Periodic self-examination and regular gynecological consultations are important as early detection factors, and if in doubt, consult with the family doctor. The Deputy Manager of the Hospital de Molina, Francisco Menchón Galiana, recalls the continuous collaboration of the Hospital de Molina with the AECC "maintaining a constant work of awareness aimed especially at women, and also at men because men can also suffer from this disease - , so that they adopt preventive measures that avoid the appearance of breast cancer ". For yet another year, Hospital de Molina joins the commitment to fight breast cancer.
