| The agreement includes a municipal grant of 5,000 euros, and has been presented today, Tuesday, November 10 | The presentation of the nominative grant agreement between the Molina de Segura City Council and the Organization of Women Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Directors of the Region of Murcia (OMEP) for the creation of the OMEP Vega Media headquarters in the municipality took place today Tuesday, November 10, at the Molinense Town Hall.
They were attended by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the President of OMEP, Carmen Botella Morales, and the Councilor for Economic Promotion and Strategy, José de Haro González. The Molina de Segura City Council agrees to provide OMEP Murcia Region with a 5,000 euro grant during 2020. The agreement contemplates the creation of a delegate office of the OMEP Region of Murcia, which will be called OMEP Vega Media (Molina de Segura, Las Torres de Cotillas, Ceutí, Lorquí and Alguazas) and Oriental (Fortuna and Abanilla).
It will offer the same services as the headquarters, and meetings and visits to the headquarters on demand.
She is also in charge of managing and advising procedures for new entrepreneurs. The signing of this agreement was agreed upon after the Mayor's visit last year to OMEP's headquarters, in order to reactivate the local economy and promote women's associations and entrepreneurship in the municipality.
Through this future collaboration agreement between both entities, the City Council offered the active participation and collaboration of the Municipal Business Office in matters related to women's entrepreneurship. Only in Molina de Segura there are 5,000 businessmen based in the municipality, another 800 based outside of Molina de Segura, and 5,000 self-employed, but their rate by gender is not known.
