He was accompanied in the presentation by the Councilor for Sports and Health, Miguel Ángel Cantero García."Hard, painful and tragic.

These three words perfectly describe how this last week has been in Molina de Segura, the Mayor has indicated to begin her appearance before the media-.

Neither the decrease in the accumulated incidence, nor the least number of cases registered in these last seven days, mitigate the great pain that invades us after the irremediable loss of 13 of ours.In one week, from last Thursday to today, in Molina de Segura we have almost doubled the number of deaths in this second wave, reaching 28 victims, 28 life stories truncated "."People who leave us unable to say goodbye and without having said goodbye properly.

I want to acknowledge the strength of their family members and join in their heartbreaking pain.

They are our reference to remain firm in the fight against this pandemic.

Their suffering should not be indifferent to us" .As of yesterday, Wednesday, November 11, Molina de Segura has a total of 249 active cases, 83 less than last Thursday, November 5, with a cumulative incidence in the last 7 days of 261.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

This index places the municipality in the 33rd place of incidence among the 45 municipalities of the Region, nine places below the regional average, which yesterday was 396 cases. The Accumulated Incidence in the last two weeks is 662.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 125 cases below the Community average. So far in this second wave of the pandemic, Molina de Segura has accumulated a total of 2,270 positive PCRs.

The increase from Thursday 5 to Wednesday 11 November has been 161 PCR positive, which means an average of 23 daily cases.

The previous week that daily average was 41 cases, which means a cut of almost half.In the afternoon of yesterday Wednesday, within the weekly meeting of the Scientific Technical Committee of Molina de Segura, the situation by health zones within the municipality was reported, some data that show the slight decrease in infections that have been registered in the last seven days. However, the number of cases continues to be very high in the South Health Zone, with an Accumulated Incidence per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days of 998.8 cases.

In the North Health Zone, the Accumulated Incidence is 768 cases, and in the East Health Zone, 273.5 cases."The keys to combat this pandemic, explains Clavero," continue to be, as long as we do not have a vaccine or an effective treatment, in the reduction of our social contacts and in the intensification of the tracking work, the latter action of which our Region cannot unfortunately, boast of effective management, despite the support shown by some municipalities, such as ours, which has made 15 municipal technicians trained in tracking tasks available to the Regional Epidemiology Service, as you know.

""The trackers, it is proven, save lives and avoid confinements; that is why it would be necessary for our regional government to accept the offer of the Ministry of Defense to increase the number of trackers.

working in the Region of Murcia, in all this time, it has located 4,000 positives for coronavirus and has followed up 12,000 associated close contacts ".The Mayor has insisted that "strengthening primary care and having sufficient trackers is also essential to avoid the collapse of the health system.

The Regional Government has had time and funds for this.

As you know, this summer the Government of Spain put 98 million euros at the disposal of the regional administration to which this November will be added a new state contribution ".Clavero has also referred to the measures approved by the Regional Government, extended for 14 days, until November 22, which include the prohibition of night mobility between eleven at night and six in the morning, the prohibition of the meetings of more than six people and the perimeter closure, both of the Region and of the municipalities among themselves, as well as the closure of terraces and interior areas of bars and restaurants until November 20.

He reiterated "the support of the City Council for this important sector of our economy.

During these days, the best way to personally support our bars and restaurants is to place orders at home and taste at home the rich cuisine that they prepare in their stoves. We cannot forget that eating and drinking in public spaces is also prohibited when it is not possible to maintain a safe distance, except for cohabitants.

""I also want to remember that the stay in our parks, gardens and public recreation spaces cannot be extended beyond seven in the afternoon, with the intention of avoiding an inappropriate use of these areas and reducing the risk of new infections associated with meetings informal ones in which it has been observed that there is a relaxation of measures, such as interpersonal distance or the use of a mask.

Compliance with these measures must be integrated into our way of acting.

I know that it can be uncomfortable and negatively affect our form to understand personal and social relationships, but it is a question of making a sacrifice between all of us to reduce the spread of the virus "."Only responsibly and being proactive in the fight to break the chain of infections, says the Mayor - will we be able to stop its expansion and save lives; that must be our top priority."Esther Clavero has reported that, since the beginning of the pandemic, the Local Police of Molina de Segura has imposed a total of 683 sanctions for non-compliance with the established regulations, most of them, specifically 413, for not wearing or using the mask improperly :- 164 for drinking on public roads.- 24 for meetings of more than 6 people.- 23 for celebrating parties without the necessary security measures.- 21 for breaking the curfew, of which 11 have been imposed in the week of November 2 to 8.The rest of the sanctions have been imposed for smoking on public roads, exceeding the closing hours of the premises, excess occupancy of vehicles, not keeping the corresponding quarantine and for consuming in the bar of the hotel and catering establishments. The Mayor has concluded by stating that "social unity and citizen responsibility are the best allies that we have in Molina de Segura to end this pandemic and overcome the deep social and economic damage that it is causing us.

United and responsible, nothing is left to us.

it will prevent a return to living in an environment of normality and security ".
