The presentation of the conference took place, today, Wednesday November 18, in the Municipal Plenary Hall, with the assistance of the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the Honorary President of the Open Chair, José Molina Molina, the professor from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and Co-director of the Open Chair, Jaume Blancafort Sansó.
The President of the FMRM and Mayor of Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz Valverde, also participated in the event, via video message. "The transformation of cities requires the participation of citizens with a commitment from public and private institutions to face the new challenges of a more integrated society, says Mayor Esther Clavero-.
Molina de Segura is a very representative city in two aspects: its constant commitment to its citizens and its drive for innovation to face the challenges of economic changes.

This debate is the beginning of a plan to rebuild more sustainable, just and resilient cities, and regain the trust of citizens that has been lost with the weakness of the system and exacerbated by the pandemic.
A plan for cities that commit to tackle a new economic strategy. The initiative has the collaboration of the FMRM (which covers a total of 1,500,000 inhabitants and 45 municipalities), and the two public universities, which will transmit it to their students.
Everything will be done using the means of the new platforms, with the support for its dissemination of Nova-Gob (Spain) and U-gob (Mexico), and the OIDP.
