The PP of Molina de Segura presents a motion to eliminate the "attacks" that the Celaá Law makes on the educational system, and propose alternatives (26/11/2020)

José Ángel Alfonso, president and spokesman for the popular people of Molina de Segura, "is intolerable that the Celaá Law takes away from parents the ability to decide how and where they want education for their children to be." "The educational reform carried out by PSOE Podemos is an unprecedented attack on what is stipulated in article 27 of our Constitution," Alfonso asserts. Molina de Segura, November 26, 2020.

The president and spokesman of the Popular Party of Molina de Segura, José Ángel Alfonso, has presented a motion, for the next Ordinary Plenary of November 30, against the "attacks" of the Celaá Law to the educational system, and in defense of the freedom of families to choose the educational model and center they want for their children. The spokesman stressed that "the Government of Pedro Sánchez has processed the Celaá Law behind the backs of the educational community and Spanish society, which has prompted an important notice from the European Commission to Pedro Sánchez.

For this reason, from the PP We ask that the PSOE Podemos Government Team of Molina de Segura urge the Government of Spain to implement a Constitutional Pact on educational matters, and eliminate the new LOMLOE because it suppresses the freedoms enshrined and included in article 27 of our Constitution, and that prevents, among other things, that families can freely choose the educational system and center for their children ". For José Ángel Alfonso, "no one can take away from families the ability to decide how they want their children's education to be, and where they want their children to be educated.

For this reason, from the PP we will use all the available tools, so that this right is not eliminated ". "The educational reform approved by PSOE-Podemos, has been processed without consensus by the parties involved, and is an unprecedented attack on freedom, and on the educational model implemented in the Region of Murcia," said the local popular president, José Ángel Alfonso, and stresses that "if this Law prospers, the students will go to the centers depending on the postal code, a situation that is antagonistic to what is currently happening in Molina de Segura, which thanks to the PP Government more than 90 percent of families can choose the center where they want their children to be educated.

" Likewise, Alfonso points out that "this law also represents a frontal attack on concerted education, because the PSOE: who created the concerts, now wants to eliminate them." In this sense, José Ángel Alfonso explained that "the reform abolishes the social demand clause, and paves the way for the massive abolition of units in subsidized centers, a circumstance that will directly affect the schools of Molina de Segura." In addition, the 'popular' mayor has shown that "the reform puts Special Education Centers at risk, and relegates Castilian to a mere subject, rejecting its character as a vehicular language of content", and adds that "nobody It escapes him that it is a concession from Pedro Sánchez to the nationalist parties whose votes are essential for this Government to be able to approve the State Budgets.

" In the words of José Ángel Alfonso, "from the Popular Party we consider that the LOMLOE is a frontal attack on Spanish democracy, and a brake on our educational system reaching the levels of quality, equity and freedom typical of the most important educational systems, and more so when this Law does not include any of the educational challenges of the 21st century ". The motion that the Popular Party of Molina de Segura, raises to the Ordinary Plenary of the City Council of Molina de Segura goes further, and requests, among other things, a cohesion fund for proper and adequate financing, as well as the reinforcement of the High inspection, the implementation of a general Baccalaureate test, and the incorporation of basic legislation of an educational emergency plan for crisis situations such as the one we are going through.
