[The PP of Molina de Segura requests the resignation of the mayor, Esther Clavero Mira, and requests an Extraordinary Spokesperson's Meeting (21/01/2021)

Jos ngel Alfonso, president and spokesman of the Popular Party of Molina de Segura, affirms that: "the mayor, Esther Clavero Mira, has lost today a good opportunity to dignify politics, as Manuel Villegas did yesterday, ¿½s, has taught him that the only way forward is to resign, and from the Popular Party of Molina de Segura, we demand that he make it effective immediately.

" The president of the popular, insists in a statement sent to Murcia .com: "Society is not tired of politics, but of politicians who do not act with exemplarity.

In just 24 hours the neighbors of Molina de Segura have reproached the action carried out by the mayor, the PSOE has suspended her from activism and have opened a file on her.

Up to hundreds of cancer patients have expressed their indignation on social networks for the vaccination of the first mayor.

In addition, his government partner also asks for his resignation, so there has been a municipal crisis in the Government Team ".

We have just requested the extraordinary and urgent convocation of the Board of Spokespersons, in order to hold it before the Ordinary Plenary Session on Monday, January 25, and so that Esther Clavero has a new opportunity to assume her political responsibility and resign.

These are some reasons why we have requested the call: Currently, Molina de Segura is in an institutional and political crisis without precedent and with national repercussions.

A similar situation is not remembered in our city.

Today we have seen, with modesty, how all the national media have echoed the news: "Mayor Esther Clavero has been vaccinated against COVID-19, bypassing the protocols established by the Ministry of Health." The data provided by Ester Clavero in her statements, far from justifying what she has done, show that she benefited from her position to be vaccinated against COVID-19, when it was not her responsibility. Evidence of a possible influence peddling, when the media have revealed that Esther Clavero has a sentimental relationship with the doctor who prescribed the vaccine. The mayor, Esther Clavero Mira, has made both her organic and militant position available to her party this morning.

Therefore, after having been suspended from membership by the PSOE, the only way forward for the mayoress is to leave her act, and therefore stop being mayor of Molina de Segura, because she has stopped represent the PSOE, party with which he acceded to his elected position. A doctor cannot prescribe the COVID-19 vaccine to people who do not have the characteristics typified in the vaccination protocol established by the Ministry of Health.

In addition, we must bear in mind that the action of getting vaccinated is voluntary, and not mandatory. The current situation of the Government Team is unsustainable, and even more so when its local government partner, Podemos, has joined the Popular Party calling for the resignation of Esther Clavero. Jos ngel Alfonso, concludes stating that "if Esther Clavero Mira had the slightest dignity and respect for the people of Moline, she would resign.

Here there are no political positions, neither left nor right , only a social responsibility of the mayor, Esther Clavero, which is the one that must set an example to the citizens she represents, and assume responsibilities after having been vaccinated when it was not her responsibility, having lied in the arguments she has given to do it, and ignoring the protocol established by the Ministry of Health.

Ultimately, it is time for Esther Clavero Mira to do a real favor to our city and the people of Moline: she resigned.
