I am addressing the citizens of Molina de Segura, who is the one to whom I owe myself and to whom I have represented with great pride since their majority support in the last municipal elections.

I have represented with great honor citizens who trusted in a project for which from the utmost honesty, honesty and transparency I have tried to develop up to where they left me. Now I say goodbye from the sadness, and the dejection of having suffered an unprecedented lynching that has damaged my family, and myself.

I have worked for my party, and for my city and without rest since I was very young.

I have sacrificed many things, my personal, family and social life, but I have done it from the conviction and the strength that changing society and my own organization was essential. Politics for me is not a means to ensure my existence.

I was born into a humble family, and the society created by our mothers, our fathers, our grandparents allowed me to progress in life from a single-parent family, until I reached a position of responsibility like the one I have occupied until today.

I have never forgotten my origins when it comes to serving the needs of people.

I hope, and that is why I will continue to fight from wherever I am, that the children of the humble can have the same opportunities that I had, and I will continue to fight hard so that my son has an easier life than mine. I have not stolen, I have not prevaricated, I have not embezzled, I am not prosecuted or charged for any case of corruption.

I have not committed any crime, I have not lied.

I have never been in court.

I have been vaccinated, yes.

I made the mistake of getting vaccinated when they called me from my health center because they considered that being a risk patient and being highly exposed, it would be the best for me.

That is the maximum crime I have committed in my 43 years of life.

And for that crime I am abandoning this project that I have led and which I consider exciting. Politics as an exchange of madness must end if we really want the exhausted, the disillusioned, the disappointed to join in and connect with their institutions.

I believe that only from humanity can cities, towns, and society grow.

Make decisions and try to order what citizens have already ordered, responding to the immediacy of the media or social networks, thus pretending to pass sentences from the most visceral emotions and feelings, destroying people, it is not the policy I want to do, nor the one I want to live. I want a more humane policy, I want to exercise power in another way, with humanity, with solidarity, with kindness, with consensus and participation, but with the forcefulness of social justice in which I believe. What I feel most true is that in this way, we will continue to feed the crisis of legitimacy of democracy, and that has undesirable consequences for the future of current democratic societies.

We are feeding the rise of populisms. The external hurts me extremely, but the internal hurts me more.

I thank all the people who have been loyally by my side to try to find measure in the face of this madness, I thank the people of Moline who have shown me so many expressions of support throughout these days and who have insisted that in the face of this injustice Hold on, because not everything goes in politics, and because time brings sanity to things. I am sorry that I cannot fulfill your mandate, but I owe it to a party that has made this decision, and would fail my principles, resisting the decisions of higher bodies.

For me you are above all a teacher and that you will never stop being, the political role is always temporary, and perhaps analyzing this whole situation from that educational perspective will make it become what it really is: one more learning, which will inevitably happen.
