[María Marín: "Clavero has made the only possible decision, which is the one that Podemos has indicated from the first moment" (25/01/2021)

The spokesperson for Podemos also demands the resignation of Murcia's Health Councilor, Felipe Coello, and assures that "society demands to know the name of all the high officials who are irregularly vaccinated and that they abandon any public position they hold" The resignation of Esther Clavero closes the chapter on irregular vaccines in Molina de Segura, but it does not end the controversy.

Podemos Región de Murcia has presented this morning in the Regional Assembly a petition to collect the name of the public officials who have been able to access immunization irregularly.

The party's regional spokesperson, María Marín, has assured that "society is demanding that no political leader who has benefited from his position to access the vaccine ahead of time remains in his position as if nothing", something with which since Podemos have been inflexible from the first moment "even when it has been a government partner." For this reason, Marín has announced that his party "will go to the end", and has demanded the resignation of senior officials of the Ministry of Health and the Murcian Health Service "who were vaccinated without corresponding yet according to the calendar and that to date they are still in their posts today.

" He has also referred to the case of the Councilor for Health, Felipe Coello, whom he has asked "not to delay the inevitable and take note of the path that Villegas and Clavero mark for him, which is the exit door", and that "the society does not allow excuses on this issue and will not ignore such antisocial behavior as this ".

Regarding the situation of Molina de Segura, Marín wished Esther Clavero "the best and a complete recovery", while also considering that the former mayor has made "the only possible decision, which is the one that Podemos has indicated since the first moment ".

In addition, he pointed out that it is "incomprehensible that the national leadership had to intervene in the face of Diego Conesa's hesitations, who has refused to explicitly request the resignation of the already former mayor." The spokesperson for Podemos has highlighted that "the work of the municipal coalition government is above individual people" and has vindicated the government agreement that Podemos and PSOE signed for the investiture as a "commitment to the citizenry to which we must respond regardless of who is heading it.
