My name is Antonio Francisco Muñoz Marín, and I am an Unassigned Councilor, in the Molina de Segura city council. On Monday, January 25, it was news by the press conference where Doña Esther Clavero, would announce her resignation as mayor of Molina de Segura, forced by the facts that we all already know. After Doña Esther's intervention, it was the turn of the spokespersons for the different political groups that make up the opposition. But since the plenary session scheduled for today Monday in our town hall was called off last night, I had to join my work duties today, since I have not been assigned a release, and I continue in my work, hence my absence at the press conference.

But I wanted to express my opinion on this matter here. All the members that make up the opposition in the city council have agreed that in the exercise of their position if one makes a mistake, he must assume his responsibility and abide by what this entails.

My surprise today has come from the hand of those who were my former party colleagues, my former colleagues from Ciudadanos They have gone from positioning themselves in favor of the resignation of the one who was our local councilor to keeping quiet and not giving any explanation to those citizens who one day cast their vote in a ballot box for them and of course also for those who did not. Almost a year ago, I decided to leave the Ciudadanos party, and this morning, upon learning of the decision not to participate alongside the other members of the opposition, I was relieved that I no longer belonged to this political party.

I do not understand how this municipal group, which is supposed to defend the interests of our neighbors, as well as the legality and ethics in the actions carried out by our city council, is now unmarked and looks the other way without facing the media . All this suggests that they are neither here nor expected, and I don't even want to imagine that these types of people could be part of the next municipal government team.

They have shown that they do not care about good management and that putting personal wishes above the public and general interest is valid and acceptable to them. Soon we will meet the corporation, to which I wish the best.
