The presentation of the novel The Green Abyss, by Manuel Moyano, edited by Menoscuarto, will take place on Wednesday, May 24, at 8 pm at the Salvador García Aguilar Library (at Avenida del Chorrico, No. 44). To the author, Luis García Mondéjar.

Manuel Moyano navigates to countercurrent to recover the pulse of the classic novels of adventures, with memorable pages that evoke authors like Wells, Kipling, Conrad or Lovecraft.
The green abyss ratifies this author as one of the most gifted Hispanic storytellers to create disturbing environments, characters and plots.

He has established himself as a cultivator of a precise and elegant narrative that flirts with the fantastic, but escapes from generic corsets.
He has won awards such as Tigre Juan for El amigo de Kafka (2001), Tristana for The Alibi (2007, Menoscuarto Ediciones) and Celsius for the Black Week of Gijón for The Empire of Yegorov (2014), finalist of the Prize Herralde.
His stories collected in El cel celeste (2003) and The Wolberg experiment (Menoscuarto, 2008) have appeared in numerous short story anthologies.
Likewise, the hundred pieces of his Ash Theater (Menoscuarto, 2011) constitute one of the most splendid samples of the microrrelato in Castilian.
Other books of his are the novel The black agenda (2016), the anthropological test Dietary magician (2015), on the curandería in the southeast Spanish, and Travesía americana (2012), chronicle of a trip in family through the United States.
