The First Gold Medal of insertion has been granted by the Society for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Murcia Mayor Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Friday 13 June, at 21.00 pm in the Park Los Juncos Molina de Segura.
Attended the event Councillor Development and Employment, Sonia Carrillo Marble, Councillor of Social Welfare, Worship Molina Lopez, and the President of the Society for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Murcia, Luis Pelegrin.
This park of 50,000 m2, was the old heap of Molina de Segura, and has been granted by the local council of the Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Murcia for the development of a socio-rehabilitation project with the mentally ill and drug addicts, called Ibn Arabi, culminating with the opening of family entertainment park in September 2007, in which 14 workers and people who have received training in the project.
In addition to the persons employed, there is another 65 who receive training in different work areas of the park.
Has been funded by the European Social Fund, with 1,000,000 euros, and the Health Service of Murcia, with other 800,000 euros, with the help of organizations like the Foundation Caixa, Caja Mediterráneo (CAM) Barclays Foundation or the Caja Rural Central.
Park Los Juncos has a football school in a natural grass field, paddle, the largest children's playroom in the region, with a canopy of 1,000 m2, a climbing wall 8 m.
high and a zip of 40 m. and outdoor space for games and adventure sports.
Most of these spaces are adapted to persons with disabilities, with changing rooms for disabled guests, and staff dedicated to organize the leisure of these people.
